Amber is our Communications manager. During Amber’s nine year tenure with Norwest Orthodontics, she has worked in different areas of the practice as Dr Shimanto’s personal assistant, one of our treatment coordinators and most recently as our Communications Manager and overseer of various operational facets such as professional events and marketing endeavours. She also assists Dr Shimanto with management of his professional, research and teaching commitments.
With a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Western Sydney, Amber’s academic background underscores her commitment to excellence. Beyond her administrative and managerial responsibilities, she is known amongst our team for her hardworking and calm nature. She enjoys the transformational nature of orthodontics and has a unique view into the process as she is currently undergoing her own orthodontic journey with braces.
Outside of her work with Norwest Orthodontics, Amber is an animal lover and has had several roles volunteering with animal shelters. She loves the outdoors and on the weekend can often be found camping, fishing or at the beach with her partner Jacob. She also loves to read!
