Do I need to wear a mouthguard when I have braces on?

If you play contact sports eg. rugby, soccer, hockey you should wear a mouthguard to protect your teeth. At Norwest Orthodontics we can provide our patients with special mouthguards designed for people wearing appliances. Please inform our staff if you play any contact sports.
